Brother Dean Hemphill has served the Clark’s Chapel Baptist Church family faithfully for the past 35 years; he has been called by God and preaching for over 40. Brother Dean and Mrs. Pat Hemphill, his wife of 50 years, have become known as one of our city’s most notable religious leaders in the community, with weekly write-ups in the Upson Beacon. He preaches the Word of God with conviction and is not afraid to take a stand when the world sits.
Brother Justin Morphis has traveled the country singing and preaching the Gospel since the age of 17. He and his wife Brandy have been married for 17 years and have 3 children, Alana, Isaiah, and Christian, all hail from Arkansas. Justin was raised on old fashioned singing and preaching and he brings that with him every Sunday as he leads the congregation with Hymns and songs of praise.
Our Senior Directors are Brother Jim Eller and his wife of 25 years, Sue. They are faithfully serving our Senior Saints at Clark’s Chapel with activities, trips, and monthly luncheons that keeps our seniors active and on the go for Jesus.
Kevin & Mandy serve as CCBC Youth Leaders, molding the hearts and minds of our youth through Jesus Christ. Kevin & Mandy have been married for 8 years and have 2 children, Mason and Hannah. They have a strong calling and passion to help our youth truly succeed in life.
Mrs. Brenda Birdsong, nicknamed “The Post-It Note Queen,” has been faithfully serving as secretary at Clark’s Chapel since 1988. She has a passion for what she does like no other and is always eager to take on the task at hand.
Melanie Jones and Crystal Hammack are co-captains of our children’s program, WOW. These two absolutely love kids and have a great time teaching our children the word of God.
Brother Jeff Hilton heads up our Brotherhood Men’s Ministry. Brother Jeff has been a faithful member for many years and does a great job ministering and leading our men’s group in Bible studies, preaching and activities, as well as reaching out to the community of Thomaston.
Mrs. Sheila Amy is the director of WMU at Clark’s Chapel. She and her husband, Brother Tom have, been faithful members of CCBC for over 30 years and love serving CCBC and our community through the WMU Association.
Mrs. Sandra Smith has been a long time member of Clark’s Chapel and is well versed in piano. She is a vital part of the Clark’s Chapel family and we are proud to have her a part of our staff.
